Alternative Care

We currently have three locations across BttB that provide Alternative Care. These are available in Albury, Forbes and Bathurst with potential to open other locations.

Alternative Care (ACA)

Alternative Care Arrangements (ACA) are emergency and temporary fee-for-service arrangements for children in, or entering, statutory or supported out-of-home care (OOHC) after every effort has been made to place them with relatives/kin, a foster carer, or contracted OOHC placement.

We currently have three locations across BttB that provide ACA, these are available in Albury, Forbes and Bathurst with potential to open other locations.

In our efforts we have successfully created safe spaces for the boys to express themselves, learn and grow. Our nurturing environment has proven to be effective in re-engaging boys into school, instilling confidence in them to compete in sporting teams and other events.

We also actively engage the boys in the community through various positive activities such as mowing lawns, volunteering at community events and helping those in need. By involving them in community activities we aim to foster a strong connection between the boys and the community.
