Frequently Asked Questions
What about Girls?
We are helping girls…
Our strength is supporting boys to become better men. If we continue to do our job well, we are doing a lot for girls. We are creating better husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, employees for the future.
The demographic of young males we are working with are statistically more likely to become: unemployed adults, perpetrators of Domestic Violence, absent fathers, incarcerated men, have mental health and other conditions.
We are willing to support any other organisations that specialise in supporting girls though.
How are you funded?
We currently operate using a fee-for-service model. This model assists us in continuing to be a self-sustainable organisation.
We hope to increase our Fundraising, Philanthropic and Grant Funded Opportunities to assist us in increasing our impact on more youth from more communities.
We are a Registered Not-for-Profit Charity with DGR (Item 1) status. A company Limited by Guarantee.
What about the kids that don’t have funding?
This is an area we are working hard to support.
We recognise this demographic of kids are often missing out on the much needed supports we offer.
We hope to attract Philanthropic and/or Government support to create subsidised positions for those that do not have access to funding.
What do you do?
We engage kids…
Our teams’ strength is the ability to engage with male youth.
Once the youth is engaged- we work on identified individualised outcomes to support the youth to grow into a good man.
We use our links in our communities to introduce the youth to the people and services they have on their doorstep that will assist them to reach their goals.
